Questions we get asked

What actually happens each month?

Plugin and core updates on a staging copy first, so an update cannot take your site down. Backups run daily and are tested. Security scans run weekly. You get a short note saying what changed, and your included time can go on whatever you need. New prices, a new staff member, a seasonal offer.

Do I own my website, or are you holding it?

You own it. You keep the admin logins, the domain stays in your name, and the hosting account is yours. If you leave, nothing needs to be handed over because you already have it. That is deliberate. A care plan you cannot leave is not a care plan.

What if something breaks at 8pm on a Friday?

Email me. On Basic and Growth I answer within one business day; on Scale, emergencies get four hours. I would rather tell you honestly what the response time is than promise 24/7 cover I am not staffed for.

You did not build my site. Can you still look after it?

Usually yes, and most care-plan clients arrive this way. I start with a paid look at what is there. How it was built, what is out of date, what is fragile. If it is in a state where a plan would be firefighting rather than maintenance, I will tell you that before you sign up for anything.

Is the included time use-it-or-lose-it?

It does not roll over indefinitely, and I will tell you when you are close to using it rather than quietly billing past it. If you regularly need more than your plan covers, the honest answer is usually to move up a plan, not to buy extra hours.

Write-ups from this work

Problems we hit on real projects and wrote down. The clearest evidence that this is a lane we actually work in.
