Built to UAE rules

What changes for a UAE business

  • Federal PDPL

A privacy policy, consent for collection and marketing, and forms that collect only what is needed. Health data carries additional rules under the health data law, and data on UAE patients generally stays in the UAE.

  • DHA, DoH and MOHAP health advertising permits

Clinics in Dubai need DHA approval for health advertising, in Abu Dhabi the DoH, and elsewhere MOHAP. Before-and-after images, discounts and certain claims are restricted. We build clinic and aesthetics sites to be approvable and flag what needs a permit.

  • Trade licence and VAT

The trade licence number and VAT registration are displayed where required, and prices show whether VAT at 5% is included.

  • Arabic where it helps

English is the business language for most of this audience. An Arabic version is available where your clients want it, with correct hreflang and right-to-left layout, and you write or approve the Arabic.

Questions

What UAE businesses ask first

Do clinic websites need approval in the UAE?

Health advertising by licensed facilities needs a permit from the DHA in Dubai, the DoH in Abu Dhabi, or MOHAP elsewhere, and there are restrictions on before-and-after imagery, discounts and claims. We build clinic and aesthetics sites so the content is approvable, and we tell you which elements need the permit.

Can the site take Tabby or Tamara?

Yes, where your booking or payment tool supports instalment providers. Cards through Stripe, Telr or Network International are standard; Apple Pay is widely expected.

Do we need an Arabic version?

For most clinics and salons serving Dubai and Abu Dhabi, English is enough. Where your clients want Arabic, we build a right-to-left version with correct hreflang, and you write or approve the Arabic copy.

How do working weeks and hours line up?

The UAE is one hour behind Pakistan, so we overlap for the entire day. We can work a Sunday-to-Thursday pattern with UAE clients where that matters.
