What changes for a Indian business

  • DPDP Act

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act sets consent, notice and purpose limits on personal data. A plain privacy notice, minimal forms and consent for marketing, with health data treated carefully.

  • NMC and DCI rules for doctors and dentists

Registered practitioners follow the National Medical Commission and Dental Council of India codes on advertising, which restrict soliciting and testimonials. Clinic and dental sites show registration and stay within the code.

  • .in domains

No residency requirement; registered in your name.

  • Consumer Protection Act 2019

Prices and terms must be clear; misleading advertising is penalised. Deposit and cancellation terms stated plainly.

Questions

What Indian businesses ask first

Can customers pay deposits with UPI?

Yes. UPI is how Indian customers pay online, and deposits and payments run through Razorpay or PayU with UPI, cards and net banking enabled.

What can a clinic or dental site say in India?

NMC and DCI codes restrict soliciting and testimonials for registered practitioners. We display registration, keep claims within the code, and use practitioner profiles and service explanations to do the persuading.

How does your pricing work for Indian businesses?

Prices on the site are in US dollars. We can invoice in INR at the day's rate. If you want a scope adjusted to a local budget, say so and we will quote a smaller fixed scope rather than a lower quality.

Do you work in the local language?

We work in English: calls, email and project management. The site we build for you can be in the local language, and for a business serving local customers it should be; you write or approve that copy. We do not machine-translate a page about your business.
