A tyre booking is two things at once

Everywhere else in this trade, booking means picking a time. Here it means agreeing a price and picking a time in the same movement, because the driver is comparing your fitted total against a marketplace listing while they do it.

Autoflow, Garage Hive, Shopmonkey, Tekmetric and Workshop Software all run a fitting diary competently. What separates them for a tyre shop is how well they cope with that quote-and-slot pairing, and none of them will show you that in a demo.

Test these on a trial

Can a slot carry the tyre, not just the job type? "Fitting, 30 minutes" is not enough. Two tyres and four tyres are different slots, and a run-flat is different again. Check the booking can carry what is actually being fitted so the bay time is right.

Does the diary model bays rather than appointments? A shop with two fitting bays does not have unlimited 9am slots. Capacity has to be per bay, or you will promise more than the ramps can take on a Saturday morning.

Can mobile fitting be a separate service with its own rules? It needs an address, the vehicle's location, travel time either side and usually a surcharge. Check it is not just a normal booking with a note attached, because that is how a van ends up committed to two jobs an hour apart across town.

Where does the price come from? If your tyre search sits in a separate layer connected to a supplier feed, find out how the quoted price reaches the booking. A quote the customer accepts and then re-enters by hand is a quote you will lose half of.

Can it hold a deposit on a special order? A tyre ordered in for one customer is money committed. Check whether a card can be taken at booking for order-in stock specifically, not for everything.

Does it handle the other services as first-class jobs? Punctures, alignment, balancing, TPMS and brakes are each a separate search and a separate slot length. If the system only really knows about tyre fitting, the rest of your revenue lives in a notes field.

What the embed does to the page

Test on a phone, on mobile data, in a private window. A driver checking prices from a forecourt has no patience for a layout that jumps while a script lands. Check the size or registration field is usable one-handed.

And load it on the booking page only. Your brand pages and your service pages are what bring the search traffic; a widget running site-wide slows exactly the pages that earn the visit.

Where this sits

Every tyre shop website we build wires the platform you already run into a fitted-price flow, at a fixed price. For what that build costs, see what a tyre shop website costs.
