One question moves this number more than any other

Ask a massage practice for a website budget and the real question underneath is usually this: one therapist with one treatment menu, or a clinic running a clinical arm and a relaxation arm at once? That split sets the price, because the second version is not a bigger first — it is two audiences, two sets of pages and two booking types.

One therapist, one menu: Essentials, $500

What a massage practice needs is short: a menu that loads fast, deposits, and booking. Essentials covers exactly that — eight pages, two rounds of changes, about a fortnight from start to live. Eight pages goes further here than in most trades:

  • A first screen that names the treatments and stops talking
  • A page per treatment with its lengths and prices
  • A booking page
  • Your qualifications
  • Where the room is, and how to find the door
  • Contact

For a solo therapist whose diary fills from local search and repeat clients, that is the entire job. Paying for a second audience before it exists is how practices overspend here.

Two arms and several therapists: Complete, $1,500

Complete runs to twenty pages across roughly four weeks, with four rounds of changes, and it is the tier that wires booking into the calendar you already keep instead of bolting a form onto a page. Multi-therapist clinics with two arms belong here, and the extra pages have obvious homes:

  • Sports and remedial in one section, relaxation and pregnancy in another
  • A booking type per section instead of one shared diary
  • A therapist profile each, with its own bookable link
  • Vouchers sold rather than described
  • Price lists and staff details you edit yourself

Booking: in the price, or quoted in a day

The booking setup comes with a new Complete build: a system picked for the way you actually work, hooked to Google or Outlook, deposits handled through Stripe, reminders firing on their own, and the confirmation email tested until it lands in an inbox rather than a spam folder. On a site you already own, that same work is quoted in a day and takes roughly a week, since the figure moves with whatever the existing site is built on.

An existing site: diagnose before you rebuild

Where a site already exists, the cheap move is finding out whether it deserves keeping. Diagnosis costs $299 and the written report arrives three days later: the faults in plain English, a cost beside each one, and a straight answer on repairing versus starting again. Diagnosis and fix together is $799 and around two weeks. Nothing is quoted as a rebuild before that report exists.

The monthly side

  • The domain, renewed yearly and registered to you
  • Whatever your booking software charges, billed to you by the vendor
  • Hosting
  • A care plan where the upkeep should be somebody else's problem: $99/mo Basic, $249/mo Growth with four hours of changes in it, $499/mo Scale

Five things that move the quote for a massage practice

  • How many treatments, and how many lengths each carries. Six treatments at three lengths is eighteen bookable items with eighteen prices, and that menu must stay editable by you or it goes stale and then gets hidden.
  • One arm or two. A remedial client and a client buying an hour of quiet arrive from different searches, and one section cannot carry both.
  • The number of therapists carrying a profile. Each is a page, a set of specialisms and a diary somebody can book directly.
  • Whether vouchers are sold on the site. A voucher is bought outright rather than reserved, so it needs its own route through the tool that takes your deposits.
  • Whether claims come into it. If clients can claim on insurance or a health fund, that has to be stated plainly and receipts issued.

None of that is design. A quote that dwells on the look and skims the menu, lengths and deposit is pricing the easy part.

Where this sits

We build massage clinic websites to that shape for a fixed price. To choose the diary sitting behind one, read massage clinic booking systems with card deposits. To judge the current site, put it through the six phone tests.
