For massage therapists and clinics

A massage website that books the slot before the client changes their mind

The decision to book a massage is impulsive and often late at night. The site has to take the booking there and then, with a deposit, or the moment passes.

What a massage clinic website is for

One job, done properly

A massage booking is usually decided in a moment: a sore back after a long week, a gift for someone, a lunch break. If the website lets the person book a slot right then, with the price visible and a deposit taken, the booking happens. If it says 'call to book' or the booking page takes four seconds to load, the moment passes and it does not. That is the whole design brief.

We build massage sites to catch the moment. A treatment menu with durations and prices you edit yourself. Booking embedded from your tool with live availability and a deposit taken by card. Separate pages and booking types for clinical and relaxation work. Therapist profiles with qualifications. Gift vouchers sold online where you offer them. And insurance or health-fund information for clinical clients who can claim.

Sound familiar?

The problems we hear most from massage therapy

  • Impulse bookings lost to 'call to book'

Live availability and a book button on every treatment, working at 10pm, catches the booking when the impulse happens.

  • No-shows eating the diary

A deposit at booking, redeemable against the treatment, cuts them sharply.

  • Sports clients and spa clients on the same page

Separate pages and booking types for clinical and relaxation work, each with its own price and duration.

What it has to do

What a massage clinic website must get right

  • Booking with deposits

From Fresha, Timely, Cliniko, Jane, Acuity or Square, with live availability and card deposits.

  • Treatment menu with prices and durations

Editable by you, structured so Google can read it.

  • Clinical and relaxation separated

Sports and remedial on one side, relaxation and pregnancy on the other, each with its own booking type.

  • Therapist profiles

Qualifications, specialisms, a booking button per therapist.

  • Gift vouchers online

Sold through your booking or payment tool.

  • Insurance and health-fund information

Who can claim, with which providers, and how receipts are issued.

Questions

What massage therapy usually ask first

Which booking tools work for massage?

Fresha, Timely, Cliniko, Jane, Acuity and Square Appointments all handle treatment menus, durations, deposits and reminders. Clinical practices tend to use Cliniko or Jane; relaxation and spa-style practices use Fresha or Timely.

Should we take deposits?

Yes. Massage has a high no-show rate because the booking is impulsive. A deposit at booking, redeemable against the treatment, is the fix and your booking tool takes it by card.

How do we separate sports or clinical massage from relaxation?

With separate pages and separate booking types. The person with a hamstring problem and the person wanting to unwind are different searches and different expectations, and one page cannot serve both.

What about insurance and health-fund claims?

Where your qualification allows clients to claim, state it plainly with which funds or insurers, and provide receipts through your booking tool. It is a deciding factor for clinical clients.
