For counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists

A therapy practice website that makes the first step easier

Reaching out is the hardest part. The site has to make it safe: what you offer, what it costs, who you are, and a way to book that does not require a phone call.

What a counselling practice website is for

One job, done properly

Someone looking for a therapist has usually been thinking about it for weeks. When they finally search, they are looking for a reason to feel safe enough to make contact: a photo that looks like a real person, a clear description of what you help with, a fee they can afford, and a way to reach out that does not involve saying it aloud to a stranger on the phone. A site that provides those gets the first session.

We build therapy practice sites to make that first step small. A calm first page. A page per area you work with, in the client's words. Fees and session length stated. An enquiry form and a booking route side by side, both running through tools with the right privacy agreements for your country. Your qualifications and professional registration where a client can find them, and nothing on the site that a professional body would object to.

Sound familiar?

The problems we hear most from counselling and psychotherapy

  • Clients want to reach out but not by phone

An enquiry form and an online booking route, side by side, give them a way to start without a call.

  • Fees hidden behind 'contact me'

Session fees and length stated plainly. Clients who cannot afford it do not waste your time, and the rest book with confidence.

  • Privacy is promised but not built

Forms and booking run through tools with the right data agreements, nothing stored on the site, and a privacy policy that says exactly that.

What it has to do

What a counselling practice website must get right

  • A calm, human first page

Real photo, plain description of who you help and how, one clear next step.

  • Enquiry and booking, both available

Confidential enquiry form and online booking from Jane, Cliniko, Zanda, SimplePractice or Power Diary.

  • Fees and session details

Length, price, cancellation policy, online or in-person, stated up front.

  • A page per area of work

Anxiety, grief, relationships, trauma, in the client's words, each with the next step.

  • Privacy done properly

Minimal forms, correct data agreements for your country, honest privacy policy.

  • Registration and qualifications

Professional body membership and registration where clients can check it.

Questions

What counselling and psychotherapy usually ask first

Should clients book online or enquire first?

Both routes should exist. Some clients want to book a first session directly; many want to send a short message first. We build an enquiry form and a booking flow side by side, and you choose which is more prominent.

How is client privacy handled on the site?

Forms collect only what is needed, run through a tool with the right data agreement for your country, and nothing is stored on the website itself. In the US that means a HIPAA-capable tool with a BAA; in Europe and the UK, a processing agreement under GDPR. The privacy policy says so plainly.

Can we say we offer online sessions?

Yes, with a page explaining how they work, which platform you use, and what a client needs. Online therapy searches are large and a dedicated page is how you appear for them.

What about testimonials?

Most professional bodies discourage or prohibit client testimonials for therapy, and Australian regulated health services cannot use them at all. We do not use them. Your qualifications, approach and a clear description of how you work do the job instead.

Where we work

Built to the rules and payment habits of your country

Health advertising, testimonials and patient-data rules differ by country. The country pages below cover what applies where you practise.

Tell us about your counselling practice

What you do, how people book you now, and what is going wrong. You get a fixed price and a live date within one business day, and if we are not the right studio for it, we say so.
